Hello, incredible thinkers! This is Karen Schaefer, and today, I’m thrilled to journey with you as we explore the power of thinking big. Let’s delve into how we can transcend the mundane and step into a realm of significant possibilities. Have you noticed that we sometimes limit our potential by focusing only on the micro tasks of our daily lives? It’s time to change that narrative.
The Power of Thinking Big
Many people often dream big, but as women, we tend to approach our dreams through the lens of small, compartmentalized tasks. We manage the household, care for our families, and juggle countless responsibilities, yet we seldom pause to consider how formidable our mental capacity truly is. I believe that we, as women, have cultivated the ability to think extraordinarily large, and our achievements thus far are merely the smallest things we’ve ever tackled.
Exploring Big Thinking
Consider all the significant milestones you’ve already surpassed. We’ve raised families, built empires, contributed to our communities, and supported loved ones—all monumental in their own right. However, these accomplishments should serve as stepping stones, pushing us to think even bigger.
Aligning Big Thinking with Personal Goals
To successfully embrace big thinking, let’s align it with goals that resonate with us, such as time, money, success, and faith freedom. These elements serve as the core of what drives us. For me, incorporating faith into this framework was transformative, allowing for what I like to call supernatural acceleration.
Exercise: Defining Your Big Goals
Let’s take a moment to focus on financial goals, as an example:
-
- Define the Amount: Grab a piece of paper and write down the amount of money you aspire to earn this year. Whether it’s an extra $10,000 or reaching for a million, what’s significant to you is your personal benchmark.
-
- Identify Your “Why”: Your reason for seeking these goals is crucial. It doesn’t matter if your reason is personal or grand; what’s important is that it propels you forward.
-
- Create a Strategy: How Will You Achieve It? Consider what paths are available to you, whether through current job promotions, side hustles, or investments.
-
- Determine Who You Need: Reflect on the assistance and support system you’ll require for your journey. It might be someone in your immediate family or a professional team.
Embracing Courage
To achieve these ambitious goals, you must dig deep and harness your inner bravery. Reflect on what you’ve already overcome and realize that you are equipped to succeed. Pull up those proverbial ‘big girl panties’ and commit to thinking big.
Conclusion
Everything you’ve accomplished until now has prepared you for greater challenges. It’s your turn to embrace expansive thinking. I am eager to hear all about how you’re thinking bigger and the small victories you’ve achieved along the way.
Feel free to share your journey with me; let’s win together by embracing the biggest challenges yet!
